This HURCO VMX 50/40T Vertical Machining Centre was manufactured in 2005 in Taiwan. It comes with a 10,000 rpm spindle (SK40 tool taper), 3 axes (X = 1270 mm / Y = 660 mm / Z = 610 mm) and automatic tool changer with 24 slots. In addition the scope of delivery includes a chip conveyor, an oil mist separator system (ME-FI from W+W), a high-pressure cooling system for coolant supply through the spindle, an integrated hydraulic tool clamping system and the feature of workpiece position detection and tool length calibration with probe. In total it has operated 44,358 hours and is still under production. As extra option upon request and for additional charge the machine can be equipped with a KITAGAWA TT 251 Tilting NC Rotary Table for 5-axis simultaneous operations (4th axis NC rotation axis, 5th axis tilting of the positioning axis in conjunction with the plain text software & 5-axis simultaneous in conjunction with the ISO code software and corresponding programming station).
